Packaging Design
Good packaging is made with intention. My process starts with the full picture; the brand, the audience, the shelf it's going to live on. I take into account the structure, aesthetics, and function to create a box that communicates both the product and your brand.
Branding
I believe packaging and branding go hand in hand; the right design for your product's packaging begins with your brand and your brand begins with your product. I have experience both creating and adhering to brand guidelines, I can jump in and create at any stage!
Structural Design/Pre-Production
Do you have die lines ready? Do you know what materials you're using? How is the box going to be made? My extensive experience on the back end of the packaging world allows me to better design for and communicate with production and printers which means less chance for mistakes or budget issues for you.
All About Your Designer (Molly)
Molly Thomas (me!) graduated from the College for Creative Studies in 2015. Since then I've been both freelancing and working in house creating packaging design, structural design, branding, illustration and more. I am currently the Lead Brand Designer at Tyndell Photographic.
I pull inspiration from my hobbies including; interior design, painting, video games, movies, and bread making.
If you were to visit my house I would tell you to look at my cat and expect you to say "awww".
